PRF – the membrane that speeds up the healing process in oral surgery

PRF (platelet rich fibrin) is an advanced method of obtaining healing membranes, from a patient’s recently drawn blood, used in extractions, implants, periodontics and any other types of surgery. The PRF, meaning the enriched blood plasma, contains numerous growth factors and specific cells which stimulate the bone and large tissue healing process. Their activation will speed up the healing process, starting with the very first post-surgery days.
